Christian Bale on steroids?

This blogger thinks that Christian Bale must have used steroids to gain 100 pounds in 5 months for his Batman role. (He played an emaciated character in his last movie - “The Machinist.”) The blogger also wonders: why do we get so worked up about athletes on steroids, but apparently don’t care about actors who use them?
Some have also commented that other professions also do things to get an advantage in their chosen profession but society doesn’t look down upon them. Like people getting plastic surgery to make them more attractive, etc. Anyway, atheletes shouldn’t take steroids if they’re banned and they are illegal.
I dropped by just to see if you were going to keep the blog up, and lo and behold, you’ve been updating all this time.
I had been wondering about the Grandma afghans. Haven’t you been working on those for about two years?
DTG, yes, athletes should not use them if they are banned and illegal. Ditto actors.
Kate, no, no, those Grandma afghans have only been worked on since about Sept/Oct of 2004! Now, the American Flag afghan, on the other hand, is getting quite long in the tooth.
