DC, here we come!
Posted by Brian August 30, 2005
David and I will be in Washington, DC, September 1-6.
We are excited! We want to see everything, though I know we can’t. I keep telling David that he needs to prioritize.
Stuff we want to see (not prioritized):
- National Cathedral
- Capitol
- White House
- Washington Monument
- Lincoln Memorial
- Jefferson Memorial
- Vietnam Veterans Memorial
- WWII memorial
- American History Museum
- Natural History Museum
- Air and Space Museum
And much more.
My friends from high school, Matt and Stephanie Hemm, have invited us to stay with them. They are so great!
Since we won’t need a hotel, and since I used frequent-flyer miles for the plane tickets, it will be a fairly cheap trip, which is good.
Sounds like a great trip. Have fun!
P.S. So the only way I’m going to get news from you now is by reading your blog?
Thanks, Mom.
Yeah, sorry. I guess I haven’t mentioned this trip to you before, have I?
No you didn’t mention the trip, even though we did see you just recently, you remember, when we made you sick! Maybe you were too nervous about your preacher saying something crazy. Well, I’ve got news for you, I think everything they say and do at your church is crazy. Haha, I’m really just kidding. I thought Alma’s lesson was very thought provoking and true.
Dad did get your happy birthday singing message.
That’s funny, Mom!
You forgot about
