In general, I think Andrew Sullivan has been saying some good things about this whole mess about the Danish cartoons and the ensuing riots.
(You might have to scroll down quite a bit. He’s had several posts about it.)
So, this blogspot thing is NOT user friendly.

I’ve never downloaded anything called “Hello”. Is this a new Blogger feature?
When I post images in my blog, I click on the little image icon above the post editor….
If you’re looking for a way to share photos, have you looked at flickr?

I agree. His thoughts have cut through some real differences at the heart of the matter.
I haven’t clicked through yet, BUT Glenn Beck reported that the cartoon was originally published in Sept, but the different Arab countries didn’t want to make a fuss about it until after their respective elections, so they wouldn’t look “extreme.”
There was something else trenchant about the new head of the UN Security Council’s being Danish, and this all tying together . . . but I guess I forgot. . . . rats.
I think I read all of the Denmark-related posts–I agree with him.
