Project Square Dance

Some friends and I are currently engaged in “Project Square Dance”. Don’t worry, no actual dancing is involved.

Basically, we each make a 10×10 knit/crochet square and pass it along to the next person. This keeps happening in rounds until everybody has an afghan composed of squares made by all of us.

Joan and Kate have helpfully posted some pictures of our progress.

The other day I was walking into the chapel just as Ed was about to begin Morning Prayer.

There is a choice of Opening Sentences for the service. Ed grinned, gave me a significant look, and chose this one, emphasizing the first part:

The hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for such the Father seeks to worship him.

I checked the Prayer Book later, but I couldn’t find anything in the rubrics about using the liturgy to berate latecomers…

Goodbye Blogger, Hello WordPress!

Much of my computer time lately has been taken up with work to set up a new website for the ECW (Episcopal Church Women) in Arkansas.

I’ve been using WordPress to create their site. It’s got tons of cool features, so I’ve decided to abandon Blogger, which is what I’ve been using for my site, and switch to WordPress. I’ll probably change how it looks later.

I know, you’re thinking it doesn’t matter what blogging software I use, because I never post anything, anyway.

But WordPress is so cool, it was able to import my old posts, so you can go back and read those again. I’m sure that would be a great use of your time!
