Don’t be late

The other day I was walking into the chapel just as Ed was about to begin Morning Prayer.
There is a choice of Opening Sentences for the service. Ed grinned, gave me a significant look, and chose this one, emphasizing the first part:
The hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for such the Father seeks to worship him.
I checked the Prayer Book later, but I couldn’t find anything in the rubrics about using the liturgy to berate latecomers…
Sounds funny to me!
Almost everything on the left side of your pages is cut off in my IE Explorer.
Hmm. Weird. I hadn’t noticed that IE thing.
I’ll look into it. In the meantime, my advice is: Use Firefox!
Yesterday everything on the left side of your page was cut off in my IE Explorer also, but today it’s fine again. Odd, huh?
I can’t believe you were late for chapel!!!!
The formatting issue is a problem with this template I’m using. Apparently it doesn’t handle quoted material very well in IE. When I have some free time I’ll hack it until it works right. In the meantime, I took out the quote-formatting, so things will look OK in IE.
I also don’t like the way the list of comments looks, I’m going to fix that, too.
ED was late to Morning Prayer today!
We were both getting out of our cars at the same time, and he said, “The hour is coming, and is now PAST!”
Hee, hee, now that’s funny!
