Church of Christ vs. Episcopal Church

Posted by Brian October 02, 2006

Though it doesn’t actually all apply to St. Michael’s, I thought this was a pretty funny comparison of two of the spiritual communities I’ve found myself in through the years:

Church of Christ vs. Episcopal Church

My favorite part:

Small groups:

CoC - Who is bringing cheese dip?

EC - Who is bringing beer?

I thought 728b was pretty funny. The only one I wanted to comment on is that I’ve been to many Coc’s that has congregational readings. Course they’re probably considered more “liberal”.

    I thought of another one.

    Christmas:
EC: The season when we celebrate Christ’s birth. It comes after Advent.
CoC: Isn’t that pagan? Or worse, Catholic?
